Ms Nadia Chaudhry was born on the 20th of February, 1984 in Madrid (Spain). She did her LL.B (Hons) from the Islamabad School of Law under the external University of London program in 2008. In 2009 she did her LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary, University of London and in 2010 she completed her Bar-at-Law from the City Law School, (Lincoln’s Inn) London.
Her previous work experience includes working at Fundacion CEAR (Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid) in Madrid, Spain, for the month of July 2009. In October and November 2008, she did a mini pupillage with Carmelite Chambers where she participated in the preparation of litigation. She has been involved with Azam Chaudhry Law Associates since 2003 to date as a junior associate assisting in the preparation and drafting of legal documents concerning company and commercial matters and various projects of the firm. During her work at Azam Chaudhry Law Associates she worked in secondment with the Asian Institute of Trade and Development doing WTO laws related research and participated in organizing workshops.
She has received Certificates of Appreciation from the World Bank for her contributions to their “Doing Business” publications for the years 2006, 2007 and 2008. She also received a certificate of appreciation for her contribution to the International Trade Centre’s (ITC) publication of “International Trade Centre: Trade Secrets Series, International Trade Rules: An answer book on the WTO Agreements for small and medium sized enterprises” in 2008.
She speaks and works in English and Spanish.
